It's pretty good, but since it's the Sims 4 being expanded upon, it's shit.
People are fed up, and just want a new Sims game, if theres any non incompetent indie devs or game designers out there, now is your chance to take on an extremely popular franchise because it's at it weakest right now.

Well it has that going for it at least, but the urge to play a Patrick Bateman type character and methodically kill everybody in that city would be overwhelming.
Has anybody even attempted to make a Sims style game? There was "Singles: Flirt Up Your Life," but it was horrible. But yeah, the series is dying for some good competition.

The lack of customization in the game and its existing limitations is most certainly a result of TS4 originally being an online/multiplayer focused game. When the last Sim City bombed they quickly jury rigged TS4 into the game we have now.

Besides being a pirate, I'm not too interested in any expansion that doesn't add what I would considering interesting content. I don't give a shit about apartments. Just like I didn't give a shit about restaurants, stores, parties, clubs, or ugly ass furniture I can't even customize in-game.
Does it have new lifestates? Does it have new traits or ways to die? Does it add magic similar to the Makin' Magic expansion?
If the answer is no then I don't really care. Pets, weather, and toddlers would be nice but I can do without those. I've also always wanted to be able to build nice stairs with landings at different heights but here we are 16 years later and we still can't. Not without cheats anyway.
Not that 4 doesn't have some interesting things in it. 3 spoiled me though.
