Given the number and complexity of barriers to reducing poverty and inequality on the continent of Africa are there any 'real' viable solutions that can achieve economic change in this region?
Give reasonable responses. No shit like "because they are niggers", even though that's obviously the problem.

In the year 2100 7 out of 10 of the Worlds largest Cities will be in Africa.
Even the merest attempt to build a proper economy that is not based on extraction in many of these places will create some strong growth, though inequality will intensify if anything. I mean imagine Kinshasa (as a mega city) with a population of over 80 million. One City with a population larger than the most populated European country (barring Russia)

not without taking charge I believe.

if you kill everyone, there will be no poor people. Problem solved
Robert Price
A topic like this cannot exist outside of /pol/, because your definition of 'real', doesn't exist in the physical world. You are essentially looking for a spiritual solution to a problem that requires extreme violence. You are praying for a some mystical liberal force to guide your car away from danger instead of taking the wheel.
Nathan Morris
The solution is already happening. As African countries open their markets and economies to foreign investment, slowly, like snails pace they will get "richer".
That's the best we can get realistically. Quite simply there is no political will among the wealthy countries to offer debt relief while also forcing governments to be transparent and obey rule of law.
It's compounded by history showing us that if you topple a dictator one of two things happen; 1. another dictator takes the same power structure and is just as corrupt as before or: 2. factionalism and the disintegration of a state like in Libya, Syria, the DPR Congo
Neither is conducive to growth.
Kayden Lee
by reducing population and this is unironical
high population requires many resources and a big economy, which africa hasn't got yet altough it's getting better since chinks pump money and they stop being wacky urss drones, there's stuff to invest in by now there, etc
Josiah Nguyen
>by reducing population
Why?
The average European consumes 20 times as much on a land mass less than a 5th of Africas and we get on just fine.
You cant just cull poor people to eliminate poverty - you just have to find a way to get them to work.
Eli Green
The rate of population is the problem.
If the % change in population is greater than that of GDP then there's a huge unsustainable problem.
Gavin Miller
FUCK YOU WHITE PEOPLE
wtf is wrong with you that you keep trying to breed Niggers in a desert with no chance of these animals ever becoming self sustaining.
All you are literally doing is creating a population of Pet Niggers living in a cycle of starvation & death just to make you whites feel "good" about yourselves and pat yourselves on the back.
FUCK YOU SICK FUCKS
Carter Murphy
>As African countries open their markets and economies to foreign investment
Are you fucking ignorant?
China now owns more land and natrual resources in Africa than ANY colonial superpower at any time.
The only reason sanctioned African warlords can still carry on genocides against their own people is because of Chinese money for their oil.
Nicholas James
>The only reason sanctioned African warlords can still carry on genocides against their own people is because of Chinese money for their oil.
China is treating Africa like their slaves right now. Take their oil. Take their gold. Take their resources.
And
Take their women.
A "slave wife" is the hottest trend for chinese oil workers in Africa.
Logan Gonzalez
Agreed - but GDP growth eclipses population growth in 95% of African nations.
(Libya, Zimbabwe, South Sudan excluded)
There is this young labour force there just waiting to be exploi.... put to work. There just needs be some stability. Look at Botswana (minus the aids thing) as a way things can go sort of ok.
John Howard
in his defense that is a chinese looking black girl

We are looking for economic solutions to the development of large economies in a region where the money supply and business capital do not match the labor pool or the current markets
Joshua Fisher
The pseudo-science of economics makes a poor substitute for common sense.
Fire hot; Saharan Africans primitive. A child learns the former in 15 seconds; a liberal cannot learn the latter with several hundred years of data.
Lucas Parker
Because they lack the intelligence to sustain themselves. They would still be living in mud huts if it weren't for colonialism.
Juan Davis
And might I add they are starting to go back to mud huts
Christian Moore
Give em time to develop and stop giving them tied aid to completely stop development? I mean think of what China was 100 years ago
