Depends on your definition of slow. They're definitely quicker down that flight of stairs than a Ferrari.

you just need to learn how to drive them correctly.

tall skinny tyres, drum brakes, RWD.
it's all about predicting whats going to happen 3 or 4 seconds from now and knowing exactly what to do to keep yourself out of trouble.
