pls be b8

bread on hood.

I'm 100% real with you mein nigga

still, bread on hood.

>100k+ big body BMW/Benz
your first mistake was being a nigger

Stop buying cars on credit.

It's not that hard.

As requested

Yes, yes it was

my dad has owned a 2003 e65 for the last 8 months, he had to change an O2 sensor ($300) and that's it.

Now we can ridicule you.

OH SHIT NIGGER WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? It should be common knowledge that the Bangle 7-series is garbage. How much did you even put down? Do you know your interest rate and credit score? Why didn't you just buy a civic for 3k?

>Why didn't you just buy a civic for 3k?
kek

why are spending $6 on a loaf of """""artisanal""""" mass produced bread?

I knew nothing and had just come into about 8k, seemed like a decent purchase. I put nothing down but had a two year payment plan.

>payments are $553 a month
>about $50 is interest
>I don't know my credit score, but it may not be that bad.

never again I assure you.

OP isn't very good at managing money, it seems...

Get rid of it and take the loss

You think this thing will improve with age?

It will just drag you deeper and deeper as time goes on

>i don't know my credit score
Probably is shit then

not mine, its my roommates.

maybe i can sell it to some inner city youth

Dude those are some of the least reliable engines ever made by BMW.
Even worse than their usual reliability.
Secondly those are some of the if not the least reliable 7 series ever made.
Sell it son and buy es300, or an Avalon. The best you can find for 6k and you'll come up even. Just don't buy German luxury until you're making more.

Fully insured? Drive it slowly through a crowd of protesters.

>fully insured
Highly unlikely given he can't afford to fix it. Probably only carries liability.

Any financed car is required to have full coverage.

Forgot he financed it, jesus op is dumb

>young german turk buys way too expensive BMW
Some news here!

Between all the wrecks this week, people wasting money on crappy cars, and that one tripfag going bankrupt after calling people poor, this has been a pretty good week for Veeky Forums.

Well it's better than I thought

>that one tripfag going bankrupt after calling people poor
I missed this, lol. There was also the idiot who leased a new Passat only to call others poor. He said he couldn't afford to buy.

its fully insured, but FML im scared of blacks and im in Louisiana

I fully accept my stupidity, at least its worth some laughs to you people

>flat tire and oil change

nigger its called an air compressor and a jug of oil

every ICE car on the planet needs oil and tires

that is a shit score

>800 credit score roasting your ass nigga

Buying out of warranty german luxury ever.

how many people really have an 800 or above score though?

yes yes, never again senpai.

plenty of people do. just be responsible with credit ma nigga and you too can beat the jews at their own game,

People that only use credit within their means. If you can't afford something, don't buy it with credit.

link to bankrupt fag?

>Is there any hope I can recover from this or even break even???????

Probably not. Your safest bets if you don't want to have to file for bankruptcy are:

A. Ask your family for money
B. Apply for credit at Pepboys. Pray you get approved enough to repair the car. If so, fix it and see if your dealership will let you trade it in for a cheapo reliable shitbox with your current payments rolled in.

You made a mistake financing a used 7 series, especially of that generation. If you felt the need for a luxo barge you should have gone for a Lexus or a smaller Mercedes.

I will try to be better in future, gonna buy me some econo shit box or something.

im a try to sell it for 15k

>im a try to sell it for 15k

Good luck. With a CEL I doubt you'll get more than $12k. Even ghetto nigs know not to buy a BMW with the cluster illuminated. At least take care of the flat tire and change your oil first.

ITT: people who don't realize that the tire pressure sensor is fucked
You think OP wouldn't realize if one of his tires was inflated to 30%? Because that's the only way to trigger the light other than a bad sensor. He's obviously retarded but I don't think he's that retarded.

OP, buy an OBD2 scanner on amazon for 20 bucks. Look up the code and if it's emissions related, either fix the issue yourself (pretty easy) or clear the code and sell the damn car before it triggers.

I plan too

now see this is the advice i was looking for.

I swear that if I manage to sell this car for more then 10k I'll make a follow up post about how I hustled some asshole.

No problem. If you didn't know, the most common check engine lights are from silly emissions checking; even a loose gap cap will trigger a light. In your situation, my best guess is a post cat O2 sensor or filthy EGR valve, assuming the car isn't running like ass.

Mother fucking 15 dollars you won't regret this shit. Same one I have. Too bad you don't live around Vancouver or I could lend you mine.

And yeah, check the tire pressure obviously but if the light stays on then it's a bad sensor, not worth replacing.

Where'd you take it for repairs? Since you only paid 12.5k (>only)
Did you not set aside the difference from a new car to deal with repairs? Most non-dealership mechanics don't fuck you too bad on repairs, and you really shouldn't be blowing your load on a car if you can't actually afford it. My 06 325i has its issues, but for the last 6months I've only had a 1400$ repair bill, and that included new brake pads, hoses, some minor electrical fixes etc. Also I'm sitting at 186K miles so it's odd as fuck that you're already broke on repairs for 115k miles. My only guess is that you didn't set aside money for maintenance and spent all of your budget on just the car.

If you can't do an oil change yourself for $40 you need to get off this board

Find a crowd of feminist protestors. They'll fuck your car good but probably won't kill you.

If you have an Android or iOS device, look for an app called Carly for BMW (formerly BMWhat). Between the app and the OBD adapter, you're going to spend about $100.

That said, it will give you the ability to recode some stuff, as well as better details as to why you have a CEL (steering angle sensor maybe?)

Any number of things can cause a CEL. Many of them are minor and can be ignored, unless you have to pass emissions.

The oil change should be pretty easy. The drain plug is at the bottom of the pan, and the filter should be just above the drivers front wheel well.

And for future reference, never buy a pre-LCI BMW unless it's cheap as fuck.

Don't forget the ban hammers being brought down

ANOTHER FUCKING PERSON FELL FOR THE GERMAN CAR MEME!!!!!

Yes, they're nice cars. But if something goes wrong, prepare to pay out the asd for it. This isn't new!

damn I got a 21k 335i e92 msport 3k down for $370 a month haha

>Check engine light
Get a new gas cap

>oil change
That's like, what, $30 with full synthetic? Not even $20 if you use regular, aren't a complete retard and do it yourself

>Small damage to a fucking bumper cover
Lmao

You're fine user, if it's that important take it to hector's bodyshop and he'll fix it in 10 minutes with a hammer and a hairdryer

>bmw drivers don't work on their cars
I thought that was just a meme.

>and that one tripfag going bankrupt after calling people poor
Post sauce!

I did not do this because as mentioned before I am retarded.

The problem is that most auto repair shops down here in the "bible belt south" won't touch foreign cars and you have to use a dealer, I'll try other locals since I just moved but most of the time my options are limited.

I appreciate this advice, thank you my friends.

I deserve your ridicule

also no, you won't break even if you put more than 5,000 miles on it so far. Expect at least a couple grand loss when buying a used car over 10,000.

That's just the nature of the beast I'm afraid. It's also why I like cheap cars because they can't really depreciate anymore than a couple hundred dollars.

>I deserve your ridicule

50 posts in and no one realized that OP has a HUGE humiliation fetish and probably already came three times by now.

Congrats everyone.

>I had come into about 8k, and spending fifty percent more than I had on a vehicle known throughout the world to be a pain in the wallet to maintain seemed like a good idea
You are well aware of this by now but I still have to say, you are dumb.

go search for the enthusist's forums for a local chapter that can reccomend a reputable specialist shop you dingus.

Change the oil yourself. If you use a vacuum extractor you won't even have to get under it.

OP would you ever join master race to recover your financial standing?

>its my roommates

so you don't make enough money to live on your own but drive a 7-series? Don't get me wrong, I love bmw's and currently drive an e91 wagon, but atleast wait till you are settled before buying a luxury vehicle like a 7 series.

Don't lie, you also like cheap cars because you're poor

>Bangle 7-series is garbage

all of them are garbage. it doesn't matter which series you get
BMW and Volkswagen are literally the worst cars made outside of russia and china

That is why when you go to buy a vehicle you make dam sure you can afford it and all the repairs it may have down the line.

>how many people really have an 800 or above score though?
Everyone that treats their credit card as if it were a debit card. If I like a local company, I use either cash or check because of costs to the business. Debit card has a percentage overhead cost and credit card has the highest percentage overhead cost. If I don't like a business but have to buy from them, I use a credit card to reduce their profit.

I dunno m8, if I were filthy rich and didn't need to worry about financial troubles ever I'd likely go back to all of the shitboxes that ever once crossed my mind just to dump money into making them quick.

Maybe it's autism but I want to see a Hyundai Tiburon going fast, or at least in a manner comparable to the best FWD hot hatch out of Europe.

source?

e38s are good.

Nope I do quite well.
I own like 4 shitboxes, equivalent to the retard who buys a brand new bmw he can't afford except I can make my money back.

gee i dunno senpai

i bought a used bmw z3 2 years ago for 7k

replaced seats for 200 bucks with oem m sport ones

sold it for 9k and i kept the hardtop last month.

I deffinately made my money back.

>brand new bmw
>hurr durr I bought a used one for 7k
>brand new
>new
>n
>e
>w

I own 2 cars (well one's an SUV) I could sell for 12k senpai
