How to make grenadier weapons somewhat viable:
1. Reduce cold wars reload time, give it a EPG crosshair
2. Remove the delay before you are able to melee after firing.
3. Make softballs grenades detonate on direct hit.
4. Increase EPGs projectile speed by about 15%
5. Increase quick regen delay to 3 seconds.

So, I just picked up this game. Should I completely playthrough the campaign before jumping online? I only played a minute amount of the first one.

Yes if it's your first time playing you might need to get used to the speed and gameplay before jumping on multi.

id say play a bit of the campaign to get a feel for it. you dont have to finish it all right away though. youre going to die a lot in multiplayer either way at first, but once you get used to the movement and stuff, itll get better.

At least play the tutorial section at the start of it, itll give you a rundown of how to play

I assume it's a dev only thing. I've run into and DICE/Bungie employees in online a large amount of times and they generally just play but have special dev only stuff. In BF though if you knife them you get the Dev tags. Was really hoping executing him would get me something but it didnt

Ion is the most flexible between bot, titan, and pilot combat. I wish vortex were more useful though.

Anyone can get the Respawn icon, only devs have the dev bit underneath though.

I love playing with the SMR, but I need something in the secondary slots and all the pistols are just letting me down.

I used to roll with the Alternator and the mag launcher, but since the SMR does both, should I swap over to the thunderbolt?

What's the best anti titan tactic as a pilot, does battery thievery even do anything?

It only does things if you have a titan or your friend has a titan. it does put a big bullseye on you though, so if you want to bait a pilot out of their titan to follow you, you can try that.

Apart from that, if you know what you are doing, you can chain rodeo and kill for sure.

Regenerating isn't that bad. Anything you buy stays unlocked, so there's no real penalty unless you use a different gun every match.

Tone just shits damage with the 40, has short cooldown decent damage lockon missiles, and has the only defensive titan option you can use while still shooting.

After poking around a bit with Northstar I have come to the conclusion that nuclear core is the only option for her.

So many Titans will rush into your face with the intent of outdpsing you, and frankly you can't run forever. So instead of trying to use your tether trap to buy distance, you use it to pin them in place right next to your nuclear bomb.

You'll both be out of titans, but you'll be anywhere from 30-50% closer to your next one while they start at 0%. Combine this with the spare battery boost to quickly boost up an ally for even more meter, and you'll be in a fresh titan in seconds.

Am I crazy, or are melee lunges COMPLETELY absent now? I've only been getting melee kills when the animation actually manages to bop the guy and vice versa.

It'd make more sense if the opposite didn't happen to me regularly, I can't count how many time I've died to a titan that's on the edge of the map and have respawned basically under it's feet.

I spawned in a scorch fire trap once.

The spawns in this game need to be fixed, just fucking put me as far away from every enemy as possible, every life I have should be at least 5 seconds long, dying less than a second after I spawn and boost into battle by the same group in the same area from the same direction is ridiculous.

face to face melee seems to be completely random

I know instances where I should have been punched/kicked in the face and even though they swing twice before I hit them, they die and not me.
