Oedon tried to impregnate her, assuming that the little library prior to Oedon Chapel belong to her. (The other ones are related to Oedon Chapel, hence the assumption.) She didn't have corrupted/filthy blood enough to get impregnated. Same reason why Adella goes insane. Those 2 drop Oedon Writhe runes and go bonkers.

Adelline is the only one who actually is able to get impregnated due to her blood being related to Cainhurst, thus has deeply corrupted blood.

Recommended weapon for bolt gem infusion? Tonitrus has served me well but the shittiness of its moveset is grating on me now. I'm thinking Cane, Kirk, and/or Axe

With 50/25 Str/Skl how do heavy abyssal'd Skl weapons compare to a pure 50 Skl build with 10 Str?

Only good thing about that image is verbose inventory messages.

Church Pick will do very well since you have Thrust gems to take advantage of.

At 50/25, for example, your AR will be 296 without gems, as opposed to the 315 of a 25/50 build. So you're not losing out on much at all.

So going for 1 HA and farming 2 Thrust gems will do you well. I'll run some numbers for the Threaded Cane.

desu it's an unnecessary part of the UI, there aren't any weapons that have no visual difference between tricked and untricked

Your AR will be beastly, absolutely disgustingly high, but depending on the level range you plan to stay in, you might have to sacrifice a ton of Vitality.

Really, it's up to you. If it's insane damage you're looking for, go for it. But farming those Blunt gems will be a nightmare.
