I posted in the Veeky Forums general, but you guys can have a shot at it too if you don't have the game yet.

>not being scared shitless by nature
Nigga take a look at this thing. That thing's mouth was made via millions if not billions of trials of deaths. Evolution saw fit to create a monster mouth like this through natural selection.
How can you NOT be scared by a a lore based around wilderness and nature?
Luke Long
What the fuck is that thing?
Moray eel?

Wish chaos dorfs had more dorfs in their army. They basically only use slaves and prisoners and soldiers.

I recently went a little crazy and bought a full 2000 point army of them for Sigmar.
I did 40x infantry, drazhoath on his bull, shar'tor the executioner and some war machines. Really fun to play but I agree, I wish they would expand the line so that it wasn't just basic infantry - war machines - heroes.
The bull centaurs are very cool, but they aren't dwarves
How do I gitgud at Empire and Napoleon? Especially Empire where I can't even hire line infantry at the start.
Brandon King
Spam generals.

No. She only accepted Aenarion in her life. AND ONLY HIM.
This is why she was later attracted to Tyrion due to the latter resembling her love the most.
Would the Greenskins kindly stop leaving dung piles everywhere?
David Barnes
>Would the Greenskins kindly stop leaving dung piles everywhere?
Pretty certain he's referring to beastmen.
Although orcs are indeed the ones who leave a giant pile of shit at sacked towns.
Thomas Fisher

Why do I love Skarsnik so much? It's pretty simple when I iz finkin' 'bout it. Skarsnik izn't just da best character in da War'ammer world, 'ee might just be da greenest character of all time. Just imaging 'im riding fru da halls of Karak Eight-Peaks, da wind in 'is 'at, 'is mighty Gobbla below 'im. As 'ee rides fru da World's Edge Mountains, da Stunties soil demselves at 'is very scent. Dey knows 'ow 'ee smells, da essence of 'is smell iz in da Stunties Book of Grudges unda da name of "Skarsnik Fungusm" Da very nature of Skarsnik iz mystery. Could 'ee be playin' a deepa game den even Gork and Mork realizes? Da answer iz yes, 'ee 'as transcended such boundaries as da written world, and 'as free will to do woteva 'ee seez fit. 'owever, Skarsnik iz filled wiff such cunnin', such morky craft dat 'ee does not even use deese powers. Why, you might ask? You will neva know, for da mind of Skarsnik iz not one dat iz easily penetrated. Skarsnik iz such a force of Mork in 'is realm dat nofink can truly touch 'im, da only fink keeping 'im bound to da page at all iz 'is will to exist wiffin da preordained boundaries of 'is world. Skarsnik iz not only beyond da compre'enssiun of us, 'ee exists wiffin a plane of true gorkiness and morkiness. Observe 'is playful smile, 'is gorgious and rippling Gobbla, 'is gallant nose, and most importantly, 'is eyes. 'is eyes, like pools of shinies, provide da only glimpse into da true maschinassiuns of Skarsnik. Do not stare into dem. Many good boyz 'ave gone dead in da attempt. Skarsnik iz not just a character, a formless collectiun of words and images, 'ee 'imself iz da binding dat 'olds da Warhammer world togeva. Wiffout Skarsnik, da entire War'ammer world, da entire Games Workshop as we knows it crumbles. No Stunties or Ratboys would be stomped wiffout Skarsnik and Karak Eight-Peaks would become a desolate crater wiffout 'is iron fist. Deese are just of a few of da reasons why I like Skarsnik so much.

>The bull centaurs are very cool, but they aren't dwarves
Get the fuck out of here
John Clark
Fucking Chaos Dwarf players. They think the old demonic gnomes from 0..000...1 edition are better then the amazing forge world edition?
Daemon Cannons are based on the foreworld stuff, so we can assume the rest of the army will be too. Not your eighties shit.
Gabriel Green
Morays look like this, know the difference, it's important to know just how large a bodypart you're gonna lose.
Gavin Fisher
You've got to admit they're pretty badass in a way that only the 80s can.
Luke Miller
IF OUR LORD IS T'BECOME KING Today I discovered that I like Skaven
Angel White
They only got an army in the mid 90s.
Joseph Howard
And one should feel sorry for those who have to clean up all this mess.
Poor Davi and Empire dudes. Undead luckily aren't bothered with cleaning up dung piles, but the Vampires would be irritated with this.
Blake Adams
Is the beastmen dlc even worth it, at all? I heard you also get a shit campaign with it.
The price is insane for just a single faction, think I'm gonna wait for a sale. I mean jesus fuck, it costs half what I payed for the fucking game.
Jonathan Young
If you're one of the people like me who absolutely loves the beastmen, its worth it. Otherwise, no, probably not.
Maybe if you play a lot of the MP too.
Julian Baker
If you want the campaign then no, it's definately not worth the price. Wait for a sale or maybe CA will split the DLC somehow inthe future although it's doubtful.
Beastmen are however an absolute blast to play since they have no restrictions like Chaos do.
Luis Butler
The price is too high and the mini-campaign really isn't fun at all.
The faction itself is very fun.
But is it worth the full price?
Eeeehhhh... I mean, I don't regret buying it, but then I live alone in a shoe-box sized apartment and have basically no expenses beyond my tiny rent. So I'm not exactly conscious about spending money.
David Richardson
I mean I personally didn't really give a shit about the Beastmen and I ended up really loving the race.
Problem is that the price is inflated due to that shitty excuse of a mini-campaign. I say wait for a sale, because, while the race itself is fun, that mini-campaign is really not worth it. Most people only play it once, and that is to unlock Todbringer.
Christian King
I actually like his story (that was later made into a play by a famous Empire play-writer).
Also his story explains why Gobbla is so loyal to him and why both are BBs.
Skarsnik saved Gobbla (back as a little Squig) from the cruelty of a rival Warlord he was trying to usurp. Some time later Skarsnik is captured and thrown by said warlord into a pit to be eaten by Squigs. Gobbla, now as big as people know him, at first tried to eat Skarsnik until in the final moment recognized him. The two bro it up and Gobbla is allowed by Skarsnik to eat his former tormentor.

So, faggots.
Lorehammer or Steel Faith Overhaul
Which one and why.

That's racist.

Makes me cry every time
Camden Howard
I'm curious too. I use Lorehammer myself but would like to know what Steel Faith offers.
I'll wait for a sale. I want them but not at this price. If our jewish overlords even put it on sale that is. Guessing christmas at best.
Mason Reed
Yes
I want to be kidnapped by cute wood elves
Justin Hernandez
Trees take a long time to grow.
Ayden Long
Can someone give me a Beastmen 101 for MP? I've never tried them in MP because I stopped playing it before they released. I got tired of all the meme builds when the deathstar was all the rage, but I'm ready to give it a go again.
Brayden Young
Pretty sure ninjahund plays beastmen all the time, google for his guide to MP.
Andrew Reed
Thanks, now I know what settlements need extra protection from shitty neet elves.
Camden Mitchell
>Playing head to head campaigns with neet elves posters >tfw ganging up on them with the AI because nobody likes elves.
Charles Clark
I keep asking but so far nobodies given me an answer. Where are the audio files located in total war attila and total war warhammer? They're being removed from youtube so I just want to rip them myself.
Ethan Jenkins
Thanks, that looks like a useful starting point.
Daniel Sullivan
Isn't ninjahund a whiny little bitch most of the time that isn't particularly good at the game?
Jeremiah Bell
Who plays Atilla here?
Brandon Jackson
He's certainly a whiny little bitch.
He's decent at the game though when he's not sulking that someone brought any army he doesn't like.
Ayden Flores
>tfw you kill endless dwarf stacks and get to Eight peaks
Oh I am going to enjoy this.
Nolan Gutierrez
Why are black people and jews potrayaed as the best factions in Attila? Is CA self loathing?
Juan Wilson
>implying CA isn't an unholy amalgamation of black people and jews
Jayden Perry
Its why they get along so well with games workshop.
Cooper Gonzalez
SFO and LH Part 1 are extremely similar, the only difference being the units. The magic overhaul is virtually identical in both mods.
LH gives you a lot more money and makes unit counters much more important. Spearmen for example are very much needed when fighting anything large, and swordsmen are anti-infantry. Upkeep is lower and income is higher. Skills have not been changed much however. SFO has generally vanilla income and upkeep, but elite units are much stronger and expensive, and your standard troops are nowhere near as specialised as they are in LH. Skills have changed a lot for every lord and hero.
They're both good mods, but I would say SFO is slightly better due to the revised skill trees. Unfortunately neither of them does a good job when it comes to building management. Sure, they've been reworked, but they're not as good as the Building Overhaul mod; >steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=696956892
To tell the truth you can do without them just fine.
John Edwards
I wonder how many layers of inbreeding that peasant's on.
Robert Sanders
Chaos Divided has fallen from grace. It's bloated as all fuck,
Brandon Powell
not sure, check in local_en.pack and data.pack since they both have audio files, but titles are random numbers and they have a weird format
Hunter Smith
Is there any reason to use anything but sword infantry in Attila?
James Baker
What do you expect when you add a trillion of units when all fulfill similar roles?
Evan Fisher
But it's the finnish who's portrayed as the best, they're the final boss and everything...
Tyler Moore
>Is there any reason to use anything but cavalry in Attila?
Fixed it for you.
Hudson Wilson
>An odd occurrence happened when I was on my morning hunt. I came across a band of peasants. They seemed mild mannered and relatively clean, If not a bit on the hairier side. Their only real peculiarity was the pattern of their speech where they often stuttered, repeating words. However I figured that it must be a foppish Parravon quirk. I then proceeded to slaughter these peasants for the crimes of trespassing in my woods, conspiracy to poach and theft of oneself from ones lord.
Carson Morgan
What's so good about it?
Leo King
Best lore
Elijah Hernandez
Cavalry is crazy powerful in Attila.
David Powell
Alright, thanks user I'll take a look.
Bentley Rogers
Just useful or you can charge headlong into spear infantry and destroy them easily so you don't even need an infantry core?
Austin Campbell
It's the latter if you're using armored camels.
Colton Howard
Thanks I just made it up. I always liked the idea of a bretonnian lord so out of touch that he thinks he's just crushing peasant rebellions when he fights skaven.
James Diaz
Horse archers can deal with infantry more than adequately
