How do I into destroyers?
Can't stay hidden no matter what, and torpedoes run out of fuel after 7km which is also when I get detected and deleted by cruisers no matter how much I wiggle.

get stealth camo to drop your detection by a little more

watch range, move into torp range but outside detection range, bear your turn radius in mind plus targets heading, its easily stray into detection if you dont keep eye at these, keep track of your targets movement using the torps aim indicator, try to see if he stays in same course or manouvers, use map and just general situational awareness to predict his future movement

unless you are 100% sure he is sailing straight for mins, drop torps a little ahead and behind too, not just inside the grey zone

I usually switch between narrow and wide spread alot even in same drop, again unless im that sure, for example its a good idea to drop 3 wide spreads and try to spread them so they evenly occupy a large area, this is best done against cruisers

I use high tier captain with concealment exprt so my detection is 5,4km lol, but still same tactics apply

German BBs depends, many of them are driven by experienced players and will exercise the art of WASD.

Also, use your guns. IJN guns have shit handling but can do good damage, the scrnshot I posted is not best example, but other times I accrued 20-30k damage just from shooting + fires in my kamikaze.

Of coruse dont just fire like an idiot, but its nice when say duelling with another DD, or when you are in smoke.

I suppose I should use stealth camo more. There's always a ton of cruisers in every game I go into and they all focus on me the moment I get detected.
