Lots of them are mk1.5s nowadays ,which means a potentially 300+ hp engine (3s-gte) in a 2500lb car
>mustang
Generally slower than a civic, regardless of engine
Oh shut the fuck up here's your (you)
>how
tuning
I care not for (you)s, only fax
Here's a hint.
If someone in an old 80s spacewedge revs at a fucking modern mustang he probably knows he can win
I'm going to have to disagree.
I rev at Bros driving mustang and trucks all the time and egg them on to race
When the light turns green they peel off and speed to the next stoplight while I laugh and do nothing.
Alternatively they want to see how fast you can go. But a monster is a possibility too.
true, i wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the mr2s that are still running are crazy built though
I do this in my Maxima.
Mostly on curvy roads at muscle cars.
(Muh terrain advantages)
>Mostly on curvy roads at muscle cars.
>bring it on fuckboy
He had an ecoboost swap
He probably means boomers driving slowly back from some car show.
not him but my home road has so many hairpins and low speed corners there's no point to bringing a v8
F-bodies handle pretty nicely from what I've heard. Their big flaw is that they're supposedly a bit numb so when it lets go you might not see it coming.
I woulndn't be surprised if it does but there's not really any point when a smaller lighter car can transition between those turns just as well if not better.
the car just isn't optimized for that kind of road
so my 2001 civic gets better 0-60 times than ecobewst mustangs.
>99 Pontiac
Mine's a 99 Nissan
Here's my touge.
He most likely had a 2ZZ swap or a turboed 20V 7AGTE
is that an ek next to that trans am. based
or a 3S-GTE with lots of boost
>there's no point bringing cars that make assloads of torque to a curvy road
Fucking Veeky Forums is too retarded to not delete
Ef I think
My real advantage is having an FF vs FR configuration for 60+° turns in triple digits (mph, not kmh). Less time (or no time) braking is my winning strategy. Most people are afraid (or don't know how) to do highspeed controlled drifts.
>3SGTE in an AW11
I've never heard of that before, I guess there's always a first.
Mk1.5s are a pretty popular swap actually
yeah i meant to type ef. i fucked up pretty bad.
youtube.com
they're pretty quick.
i mean, that could help but only because the pigfat v8 needs to slow down in corners when my tiny ass civic can just blast through
>He needs to slow down to 40 mph while I can stay at my max speed of 40 mph
i mean, are you saying it's an advantage that your car lets you suck at shifting?
why not just git gud
I was mocking 's car's lack of power.
same person faggot
you need a v8 to be as fast as a shitbox civic with a little bit of skill at heel-toeing
pretty pathetic
