Doesn't Persona 4 now stand out like a sore thumb in a series full of sad or bittersweet endings? I mean, it originally had a pretty sad ending but now it's just like a GOLDEN end full of happiness and sunshine.

Not really. 5's is even happier since it comes after a game of life punching Protag in the dick frequently vs Yu having no real stresses. Also instead of leaving alone on a train Phantom goes off with all his living buddies on a road trip. Yeah Goro died but nobody really cared for him anyway.

And 1's is the happiest of all because Piercy doesn't even have to leave all his friends because he's lived there from the start.

Is it true that nobody really mourns Goro like this user says? I mean after Adachi relishes in admitting to his crimes, some people still cared.

But then again, I don't know the full depths of what Goro does that makes him pass the point of no return

Honestly rebuilding is going to be a moot point. Let's take it into perspective.

Sumaru City is the only thing that exists. It's based on IRL Yokohama and most likely has its same 2 million population. So there are 2 million people still alive on the Other Side.

Not only do they have to restructure the area so there is farmland for growing and livestock to feed 2 million people, but there has to be population control. These people will still breed in a space that absolutely cannot be expanded. There is no ocean to escape to escape vast nothingness that will probably kill you.

The humans will build tall spires in order to get creative with space, but the materials will be recycled slipshod stuff because I don't think they have much natural resources, and it would eventually deplete themselves.

There will be no such things as office jobs or internet or anything of that sort. It's going to be an old school argricultural society in a ridiculously tiny dystopian world. Humans will resort to cannibalism in the long run.
