Palace of the dead is super comfy. I'm running it, I feel like such an adventurer in ways dungeons don't make me feel. I think its because team composition is always random and you can fuck up and wipe and you get random loot.

Yes! Me and my friends have been absolutely in love with it. We're doing it -only- together so we aren't nearly as far as a lot of people, but it really adds to this sense of being an adventurer team. And we're all roleplayes so it makes a lot of interesting stories to tell!

Ok just to make sure i followed it right.

TLDR was WoD won so hard on their world that light overwhelmed everything and started fucking the world up.

They came to our world to try and merge the planets together to balance things back out on theirs at the cost of ours.

After we beat them up Minfilia agreed to travel to their world and pretty much try to take some of the light away and attempt to restore balance to it.

That about right? It felt like they dumped all their motivations in about 5 minutes so.

If they follow a similar schedule to 2.x's patches, we probably won't see 3.5 until January or maybe even February. But who knows maybe they'll change it up.

I'm pretty sure Gilgamesh players have access to fresh water. I mean, anyone on Ifrit is probably thirsty with all the heat and all, but Gilgamesh seems like a pretty well maintained society of raiding memers with access to fresh water and food

There wasn't any bringing balance back. They wanted to merge their world with ours, which would mean all life on their world would be reduced to aether and returned to the Lifestream, which they considered preferable to spending an eternity in essentially a light version of the Void.
