How do you look up kanji? You don't know how it's pronounced, and you don't know what it means. How can you find it in a dictionary?

In classrooms they look at the core radical and number of strokes and then take out a radical dictionary, which is tedious, but using modern electronic tools it's as simple as looking at radicals (think letters composing a kanji, parts of a whole) and selecting the ones you see.

Lets make this world a lolitopia, where there are only lolis on the planet.

Actually, although the "total" number of kanji goes into the tens of thousands territory, the total number of characters an educated Japanese individual will know is closer to 3,000-3,500. The visual novel Muramasa uses a total of 3,086 to demonstrate this, though most novels hover around 2,500.
It's a pain for physical dictionaries but if you're familiar with kanji then you'll rarely have to look any up, and if you use an electronic dictionary it's basically just like pointing out the "c" and "a" in "cat" to find the "t" if that makes sense, not a real problem. Way more complicated than looking up words that use an alphabet, though.

I'm going to end it if japan doesn't get rid of kanji.
