First, Saadia's age. She appears to me to be in her mid to late 30s, maybe early 40s. The Great War began in 4E 171, 30 years before TESV, which would make her pretty darn young to be selling out a city (whatever that means, since no proof is given). So, she'd have to be at least 50 years old to be in some sort of authority position at the time (20+ yo) to be giving military/logistical secrets of an entire city to the Thalmor (betraying her family House Suda I might add). Yeah, I don't think she looks 50+ either. However, if she's in her late 30s/early 40s, it would make more chronological sense if she was speaking out against the Dominion in occupied Taneth for the remainder of the decade until the Second Treaty of Stros M'Kai, almost 10 years later in 4E 180. That would put her between late teens and early 20s by then.
But what about the Alik'r? Well, they're mercenaries. They'll do whatever is needed for the highest bidder. They may have a code of conduct or honor, but they could still have been hired by the Thalmor.
Other questions abound. Why would Saadia have sought asylum in the Empire instead of the Dominion if she helped the Thalmor? If the nobles of Taneth wanted her for treason, couldn't they have gone through official channels to pursue and extradite a fugitive, even if Hammerfell isn't in the Empire? Let's not forget that Taneth had 20 years to pursue her through legal means, whereas if she spoke out against the Thalmor during the occupation and escaped, the Thalmor would be forced to use their only means of exploring the Imperial provinces (through spies and mercs). It makes much more sense that it takes 20 years for mercenaries to find a woman than any state-sanctioned search. After all, the Thalmor were only recently allowed access to Skyrim to put down the Talos cult worship so they couldn't directly search for her. They use spies (Gissur) and assassins (Shavari, J'Datharr) anyway, so why not mercenaries?

shit's already up
Elijah Flores
The answer is kill all of them to obtain maximum cash.
Jayden Gray
Then crashing Aww yeah, I could use those robes for a dwemer specialist playthrough I'm doing.
Benjamin Phillips
So why didn't she stay in Hammerfell? She probably did, but she's been running ever since, hence why she "can't keep running forever" as she says when you decide to betray her to Kematu. Maybe that's where she got her scar, in some sort of altercation with her pursuers ages ago. That's a bit of speculation on my part, but it makes more sense that she's fled further and further into Imperial lands than Aldmeri if she spoke out against the Dominion.
In the end, the Alik'r close in on her, believing her to be in Whiterun, and choose to shack up with unscrupulous characters since they apparently can't all stay in an inn. There are so many of them because they've been covering large swaths of land in search of her. If you betray her, there's no indication that they wouldn't just show her body to the Thalmor instead of marching her back to Hammerfell.
A minor point people make is that she switches from not knowing the Alik'r are in the city to referring the LDB to one that's in the city jail. It's not stated whether that particular warrior was caught in the city of Whiterun or not, so I don't consider it particularly compelling evidence against Saadia.
The Alik'r show up in Skyrim with no hard proof of her crimes or writ of execution or anything. That's all I can think of at this point in her defense, but I'd say there's definitely enough ambiguity and lack of information or evidence to warrant that a potentially innocent, near defenseless woman shouldn't be left in the hands of belligerent mercenaries of questionable motive.

I don't even remember them all. Played Arena/Daggerfall and Fallout 1/2 back in the day, moved away from PC gaming, tried Morrowind on a friend's Xbox, and Oblivion when I got a PS3. Fallout 3 came just as I was getting back in PC gaming.
Ethan Barnes
>Diablo 2 >vanilla World of Warcraft >Final Fantasy 1 & 9 >Pokemon Blue/Gold/Sapphire >Fallout 3 / New Vegas >Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga >Persona Q I'm on the last dungeon and I dont want it to end so I wont finish it
David Ward
Sorry you had to type that but I know the manual way
Adrian Cruz
I didn't play any real PC games for the longest time, I was a console gamer except for MMOs on PC (NexusTK, RO, and WoW) and some TF2. Early on in the PS3/Xbox 360 era I started playing more PC games. By the time Skyrim came out, I was 95% PC (with only a PS3/4 for certain games).
I still haven't played any of the really classic RPGs that I feel like I should, nor even beaten Morrowind/Oblivion.
If I quit WoW and got a better attention span I might be able to actually finish a video game.
Angel Butler
Inb4 downvotes because PS4 users can think it can come to their system
Leo Taylor
Who would you rather rule the Empire? Potema or an elf?
Mason Lewis
Elisif

Arena and Daggerfall are on my to-play list. Oblivion is the one TES game I should play, but I don't have the strength to.
I like FF and Pokémon. Diablo 2 is on my to-play list too.
Interplay/Black Isle/BioWare 97-03 RPGs are pretty cool, I suggest you give them a try.
an Elf that wasn't insane, a known necromancer and murderer, and who had no love for anyone in her heart.

>Skyrim >FFXIV >Oblivion
That's it. Despite being in IT, I'm a recent PC gamer because poor for a long, long time and Linux. This is only my second year of running a Windows OS.
Kevin Nelson
CBBE is shit.
Christian Perry
>Then crashing Ya that's what I'm saying
Killing Harkon was okay tho, no CTDs there Marin was originally going to get killed by him but I couldn't make him equip his sword and that was a requirement
Jeremiah Phillips
You haven't played Diablo 2 until you've been run through all 5 acts in less than 20 minutes by a Lightning Nova Sorceress.
Parker Nguyen
Okay pedo
Hunter Foster
Skyrim Oblivion Morrowind FO3,NV,FO4 Vampire the masquerade Mount and blade Dragons Dogma Deus ex HR
I dont really like most non-RPG or RTS games.
Jaxon Williams
It's still private/unpublished right now. Hopefully, it should be unlocked soon.
Jackson Sanders
Great. I'm doing a Battlemage playthrough and I was getting tired of looking like a generic warrior type.
Jason Johnson
Yeah, a number of them are on my list to play. But my issue right now is that I can't finish any game. I have a huge backlog that is only growing.
Christopher Stewart
Oh no, sorry, not for regular skyrim oh god no. Playthroughs don't exist there. On SSE it's what I'm doing, need to know what Cries and Prissa know for dialogue then hopefully the bonemold archer for Dragonborn. But thank you. Whoops, I missed that "kills your game" but still, I'm with ya.

Fucking shit. Now I gotta figure out which mod is causing this issue. Other than JK's skyrim, I don't really know what could be the issue.
Jaxson Butler
I like the pommel on that sword. What mod?
Connor Long
Skyrim Morrowind Fallout 3 Fallout NV >Fallout 4 Fallen Earth Everquest II Guild Wars 1 and 2 Jade Dynasty Dragon's Dogma (really should go back and play more of it) Fable Dragon Age: Origins Cthulhu Saves the World
Played Oblivion on 360, yet to play it on PC.
Blake Scott
Well I wasn't a PC gamer until two years ago. Until then, it was PS1 and PS2 for a long, long time. Even on PS3 I only played a handful of titles, like Gran Turismo, God of War III, Modern Warfare 3, and GTA V (awesome game, I would dare say the best ever made).
Is Mount and Blade as dorky a game as it looks like?
I've checked out Dragon's Dogma, I've heard wonders of its combat. Luckily it was re-released for PCs this year.
Isaac Evans
M&B is amazing for pretty decent combat, more realistic battles, and sieges and shit.
Asher Diaz
the baldurs gate games are still worth playing. they're like the grand daddy that inspired everything.
Thomas Edwards
I've talked to them, but they used a modified version of SKSE, it'd take a while. That being said I converted it over and while it didn't run per-say, the environments loaded and definitely got better performance.
Gavin Perry
Is Durnehviir the best character in the whole game? Yes, glad we agree.
Austin Brown
What's the thought on the SE version of Skyrim? I only recently heard it was a thing, and I haven't touched regular skyrim in ages
Leo Murphy
It's good, requires a bit more time to get an SKSE version for SE that will allow more mods to be used on it.
It's a good base to build on (64 bit native and much more stable) but it'll just take time.
James Torres
What kind of benefits would you say there is for SE compared to skyrim, what with having all the years worth of mods made for the original skyrim
Joseph Ramirez
>not Cicero.
Not really worth modding yet until more mods come out for it. Recently FNIS got released for the special edition but right now, SKSE still needs to be ported.
SE on it's own doesn't add much to Skyrim at all. The only thing that's new would be improved performance and volumetric godrays.
Dylan Baker
if ur a console pleb then it's good because i saw my roomate in college playing the ps3 version of skyrim and it looked like a disaster. now console players have something decent to play
if you're a pc player (and you got it for free) then it's good because it fixes most of skyrim's technical limitations that we were having with modding. as soon as we get a script extender developed, the SE will be the definitive modding platform for skyrim.
Christian Johnson
Guys i'm trash at making waifus could someone be nice ad tell me how i could port one over to SSE?
Adrian Rodriguez
why is this piece of shit 2011 game overheating my laptop more than, idk, fucking overwatch and shit?
also SE keeps crashing every time i start new game, and u still cant skip intro, cant u?
Ryan Allen
There is no memory limit on mods, performance is better, more stable
Adrian Gutierrez
Cicero is obnoxious
Nolan Adams
whats the best combat mod?
James Ramirez
Performance. Both in raw fps, and in stability to let it do things like put far, far more actors on screen at once with fully functioning AI.
Hey guys, I keep trying to install the Morrowind Graphics overhaul but it keeps freezing at the Extracting files and says "please wait". I recently got an SSD card and the harddrive in :E instead of :C and I'm using the Steam version, in case any of that information is important.
Carson James
There is no best. Ultimate Combat, Wildcat, Vigor, Smilodon, and Combat Evolved (Alone or in combination with UC or Vigor) are all solid choices. Look at the feature sets and decide which you prefer.
Andrew Mitchell
All you guys can just go suck an egg.
Isaiah Torres
Someone recommend good vampire games that aren't masquerade, I've played that to the death already.
Charles Evans
The Night Mother stayed my hand. Otherwise, he'd be dead.
Why is this general always so full of cringe inducing OC''s and waifu fagging?
Kayden Johnson
This is getting out of hand.
Carson Watson
>it's another episode of faggot as no idea where he is
Robert Martinez
Because that's how a general for a single player game survives this long.
Matthew Cox
One thing is that the 4GB RAM limit is a thing of the past so now the only limit is however much RAM you physically have in your rig. Also, SSE is running on DX11 rather than DX9 and they put some stuff that you used to have use ENB for into the native code so that increases game stability.
Just choose the "hunting in the woods" option if you want just want to skip the vanilla start and continue on with the regular game.
Easton Brooks
What else is there?

Seriously guys, what's going on? How do I make the Morrowind Overhaul install?
Owen Perry
Stop.
Robert Butler
>no erik the slayer
Dropped.
William Brown
Not worth the hassle.
Ask on Reddit, though.
Elijah Lee
Cause this OC shit and stupid and pathetic and is worse than dying.
>Make a model in Maya 2017 to practice >Need to export it to nif >Get the 2016 nif plugin >Doesn't work So, what do I do in this case? Download Blender, get a nif plugin for that, and export the Maya file as an obj and convert from obj to nif?

>skyrim >most popular role playing game (ever) >sold over 30 million copies >a remastered version has just been released >skyrim has never left the top 10 list in the "most players currently playing" on steam, ever, since its release 5 years ago >skyrim is currently holding TWO of the top 10 positions
and yet you're hear wondering why there's so many people talking about skyrim. skyrim will literally never die (until 2021 when TES 6 gets release)
James Bell

That's just your opinion.
Joseph Perez
Is there really a benefit to download the special edition if I already have the legendary edition?
Benjamin Cox
I hope it gets better soon, I cant be arsed to manually fix 30+ mods
Xavier Brown
Look at the replies to
Logan Butler
This list is actually really really bad
Ryan Reed
Right now, probably not. SE is still mainly focused on restoring things from Oldrim. In the future maybe.
