it's mostly shitters at C rank and below who complain about haven. Forest is better in every way. Tempo Forest is far scarier than Storm Haven and PtP Forest is far scarier than Elana or Seraph Haven.

Forest is expensive so you don't see it as much in lower ranks.

Well it's not a great matchup for you so just be aware that one of the more popular decks counters your deck.

Also try to orientate Shadow more towards Aggro unless you have Tyrant as a huge finisher for midrange/control. If you just want to try to outvalue your opponent as Shadow it won't work in a lot of matchups. You need risky extremes like Tyrant and Atomy if you insist on going down the midrange path.

Generally, any deck that is able to fill its discard / graveyard (called shadow in this game) would be able to utilize PtP. Elf is usually the one that utilizes it the best (hence PtP Forestcraft is a Tier 1 deck), but sometimes a Runecraft player could just meme with it since they're constantly playing Solitaire.

It's neutral but only forest uses it since it can generate a good amount of shadows pretty fast with all the fairies and spells. Rune too but to a lesser degree with snowmen and spells.

because most amulets before DE were completely unplayable. seriously pull up haven and just look at its amulets. they are almost all absolutely awful. aria exists basically to see if the problem was the amulets themselves or just that the payoff wasn't great enough.

also in a meta like this dedicating your turn two to something that doesn't do anything immediately is a pretty big deal. classes like blood and sword could have just played a storm early on and then a big health follower turn three or four. you get the benefit of them not being able to trade, but you also get no board presence to makeup for it.

I think Aria is fine. The reason it is such a big tempo swing usually has to do with using an evolve point either on the tiger or cudgel. It has to do with how broken turn 4/5 is in this game in general. Most of what determines who wins in this game has to do with the first wave of evolves from both sides.

And anyway Garuda is a much better issue in terms of Storm balancing. It really shouldn't do three damage unless it at least reduced the countdown of an amulet. It honestly shouldn't do three unless it was able to make the amulet go off, but then it might be too weak.
