Thrall axe moveset is shit. Quickstep is it's only upside, and Bandit Knife is so much better at that. The rolling attack with daggers is the perfect punishment tool after a quickstep, and the bleed buildup is pretty nice too.

Corvian is great too, but it doesn't have quickstep or bleed. Since he was asking about Thrall Axe, I assumed he wanted something with quickstep.

Both Corvian and Bandit's are good in their own ways.

The thing is, really bad cheats, like iframes, 5x speed, curse kills, infinite stamina and such don't get you banned.

Reminder that the difficulty setting is Soulsborne is points in HP.

No bias at all. I wanted to love DaS2. I pre-ordered, had it day one, was hyped by the network test, etc. DaS2 just turned out to be garbage.

I started a test on the day of the banwave on 3 family share accounts to see whether a hypothesis I had about how they've been sniffing out CE users was true or not, and today I have my results

First one, I made a new character while completely offline and spawned my self a whole character's worth of gear (including +2 rings)

second one, I made a character while online, made sure the character was sent to the server, then went totally offline and CE'd the same items as the first one, then reconnected and had my data sent to the server

Third one, I made the character online, and did the CE stuff online, same items

Results:

1st account: No warning, No ban
2nd account: No warning, Ban
3rd account: No warning, Ban

So I can reasonably conclude that the deciding factor in whether you get caught for item swaps is whether the server has seen that character before and has a previous copy to compare against. There are still unknowns involved (how does the server reconcile the discrepancy between previous data and new data if say, for example, you've been playing offline due to network outage or something and progress through the game and then suddenly resync with the server and now you have a ton of shit that you didn't have before?) but I think it's safe to say that you shouldn't be itemswapping if your character has been online before.

Uhh no, difficulty setting is not leveling weapons or stats or using armor, rings, weapons, covenants, runes or gems.
