I've been smurfing in silver as a plat player and I just can't handle how fucking bad everyone is there you just forgot. There is legit one or two people every single game who hard feeds and does absolutely nothing for your team you have to carry.
My experience getting in to gold v was like that for a little while but it was pretty alright after getting out of gold v. It gets better.
People say plat is full of shit like this all the time but I really haven't noticed. My games here so far have been pretty comfy.

They gave her a random dash attached to her W, and made it so that she always casts the shroud where she was. So you can't control where it will land anymore to use as zoning etc. And then they nerfed everything else on her kit to hell and back "to make up for the extra mobility. And her passive procs a heal before damage so you'll get your heal when you're probably fullhealth anyway.
