Heh, the one of the quests, the cancel channeling spells one, is bugged. Basically what you can do is take any hero, take that quest and make your allies cancel spells on top of you, for example magnus rp or treant overgrowth or something similar and it works

if you hit the bat then obviously it is affected. whethere it is movement or damage

so in all cases, regardless of the ability, batrider is affected equally no matter of which one of them is actually hit
