All of the movies would have been better with more time and all had aspects cut, some pretty important, but the director who did the worst job covering that up was Miura. Rather then actually setting up the main conflict of the movie and properly showing what the bad guy is actually doing and how, he wastes time on schoolgirl SoL with the imouto and other irrelevant shit when even the good UFO directors would be pressed for time. There's cutting important shit that the story can potentially do without for the sake of time because you absolutely have to and there's cutting stuff that is actually required to understand the story when the movie still has padding.
