clear the caches in your game. My Documents--> Electronic Arts--> The Sims 3--> DCbackup

Just delete everything in there EXCEPT the ccmerged file

I don't have a sims 3 folder. I installed ts3 content into ts4 by mistake.

look up sims 4 mod conflict detector on modthesims, I had a similar situation and it pointed out what files were wrong

There' you'll find a folder called ”cache” and a file named localthumbcache. When it comes to the cache folder, open it and delete everything that's inside of it *except* the FileCache.cfg file
