people used to claim that alevel 10 node would get you 10% more trash loot, but some recent studies on plebbit pretty much show that investing in nodes does nothing and you should gather, you will need tons of hard and harp shards just go dig in the desert or something

I'm still trying to get enough gear for susans right now I can believe that but I haven't even gotten to the desert, let alone catch up my quests to my level. I hate skipping quests but I started focusing on leveling since I was close to 56. Should I just run over to the desert place and go find somewhere to waste my energy?

you can just buy some shovels, go stand right outside of sand grain bazaar and dig very low effort, you just have to drink every water now and then to avoid heatstroke

What's the best way to increase exp? Can you use multiple exp food items?

Smash some pets together and hope for that sweet combat exp buff.
There's also a helmet slot crystal that gives you a 10% exp boost. If I recall correctly, the spiders just west of Sausans drop it. Grind during in game night too for a free 50% boost.
