Yeah I agree. It's a shame because I always thought that was really cool seeing it in the movie and it was fairly lack luster in the game. Not the easiest to hit things with and unless you use it close range, it only does half damage.

You can only have one mentor at a time. They don't do much, just come to your aid in PQs when you're on low health and let you talk to them. Just choose your favorite character, you can learn everyone's moves in any case and there are no real bonuses that you can miss.

The raids were a complete shitshow. 9/10 times you would be dropped out due to a connection error.
In PvP the game flat out does not calculate any compensation for lag. If you have high latency in your match then your hitboxes are calculated where they appear on your screen and the game makes no attempt to reconcile that with what your opponent is seeing so you have situations where it looks like your opponent is punching the air 5 feet away from you but you're still getting hit.
