The defence archtype may as well not exist, most characters there are just DPS picks. Only Bastion and Torb really fit the role setting up and holding ground.

Mei fits the defense role pretty well. She is the god of contesting points and stalling payloads, as well as preventing full team pushes thanks to her wall.

it was fueled more by apathy because i just stopped giving a fuck about trying after seeing how nobody even tried to make a team that made sense and we lost the first point on hanamura

usually i try to stick it out because there could be a sliver of hope, but this time it just sucked all the energy out of me

tanks are the real defense characters
defense is literally just "damage, but you have to stand still". and their dps is all overtuned like fuck to make up for the fact that most of them have to sacrifice all mobility to accomplish things so its incredibly difficult to actually make them usable without making them overpowered

Game's like that overall. Look at tanks, only Reinhardt is a tank, rest are off dps/disruptors. Supports are somewhat the same as well, Mercy is pretty much the only support you could call a true one, rest are off dps with utility ults.

Ana got Shrike and Merciful so maybe at least one of them won't be.

When Sombra does come out on the PTR, is someone here gonna show off her skins and other stuff?
