Rune can only reliably kill pure elana which you don't see as much in this area. Storm runs Mainyu which can fuck them extremely hard and Seraph wins roughly just as fast as them so it's a crapshoot.
I see PtP just as much as I see midrange at AA2.

petrification is kind of an odd choice for dshift desu. I've only seen it used a couple of times against me fighting dshift and control sword, so I have plenty of targets they would use it on if they packed it like frontguard. I can see why since it's not very good against aggro and they already beat decks like mine or elana anyway.
If it works for you, I can't say much since I only dshift in unranked for dailies/fun.

Like I said it depends on your rank. In AA-Master there's less hard aggro like bats and banners, so petrification becomes a better choice when you start running into shit like Seraph, Elana, Frontguard, etc. Having one or two can be good and some decklists do tech it in now as a counter to amulets.

about what I said in the beginning, half my games are forest and half of those are ptp so that's why I said dshift players are aiming for ptp. I really don't see much pure elana anymore, which is disappointing since it's one of my two best matchups.
