Probably because the card for Sae is fucking amazing. Or maybe Japan is starting to figure out that Sae is amazing. Who knows, but I just decided to check it out myself, and you're right. This is the highest T1 Groove yet, but it's not the highest T2 event. 生存本能ヴァルキュリア was the previous record holder. This event beat it by 6k+ for T1, but was 2k~ less for T2.

Personally, besides being a Sae fan, I honestly think this is one of the best cards in the game, and she's not even in her normal (or an improved version) of her getup, which she's somewhat iconic for. Maybe I'm overreacting, but I really like this card. It makes me want to princess carry her.
