I always just keep the cards in my deck in mind when drawing, and try to guess which one is more probably. I doubt I have the time to try to run the numbers in any concrete way, but that might be me being bad at probability.

once you evolve it, it will turn around and become symmetrical

No. You also need Death's Breath and Phantom Howl. And Pluto is only good in arena.

That actually might be better, would provide reliable amulet removal that works even with Haven making that matchup a bit easier on shadows.
