how do i heal as priest
i've been doing my first mythic at ilvl 845 now and i cant seem to actually heal people
flash does very little at all, prayer is not visibly moving health bars
the normal heal seems to be entirely worthless

i was in halls of valor with a demon hunter tank and a rogue, monk and paladin and people just got constantly hit for half their health bar, the tank took especially much damage
like he went from 100 to almost dead a couple of times
hyrja was almost impossible to keep people alive
and then before we got to skovald i got randomly kicked without a word and when i asked i was told "the tank didn't like his screen being red all the time"

i don't know what i'm doing wrong

That's just DHs mate their healthbar jumps like crazy

I'm running into some issues here with a new character and I have no idea why this is happening and how to prevent it from happening. Nor do I know what consequences this has for later on like if it'll fuck up something.

I do not use any add on at all, WoW has been freshly installed last week, I did not use any macro's at this point.
