bungie did good with halo, and destily lore has the potential to be so rich i don't understand why there is literally no supplementary material, all we have is the game and the grimoire which is earned in-game

For the first column you probably want Smallbore/Perfect Balance/Braced Frame as one of your perks. For the second its kind of your choice, just don't use Accelerated Coils as it reduces the damage. For the final column you want Rangefinder probably. I have one with Battle Runner that I quite like but its mostly a preference thing.

The lore is supposed to be fragmented and mysterious, like a puzzle we don't have all the pieces for and are still discovering. Compare it to Dark Souls. Some things would be suitable for expanded universe material (like a comic about Shaxx's performance at Twilight Gap) but a lot of the lore is too shrouded in ambiguity to just be made into a book or short film.

I disagree, mysteries are what make lore fun to think about and keeps it exciting. The mysteries only stop being interesting after they're solved.

They might not stay unsolved forever, but if they just told us "Oh The Traveler is a giant Ahamkara egg, the end" it would be boring.

Explaining everything is for hack writers. Leaving things to the imagination can be 100x more powerful for the person experiencing it.
