The MX3 as well

They're still good and fun cars, but RWD would've made them instant classics, possibly on par with things like the S13. The Ford Probe (MX-6's sister car) was even supposed to take up the Mustang's spot in their lineup at some point.

Also pic related.

>ITT: everycar

Nah. Twingo wouldn't be as cheap, simple and economical if it was RWD. It doesn't have the power to benefit from RWD either.

If these were RWD and came with a optional LS1 they might've been the perfect alternative to the Crown Vic.

Probably my maxima

1000% prelude

>2014+
>RR
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renault_Twingo#Twingo_III_.282014.E2.80.93present.29

Because the new one shares its platform with the Smart ForFour. Putting the engine in the back means it's got a tiny trunk, and bafflingly, it doesn't have a frunk to make up for that.

This. Would have made it better than the s2000.

Nothing can beat this answer.

Preludes even look RWD.

Volvo s80

What is the Chevy Caprice.

Various 3-door hatches. Don't matter which ones exactly, it's just probably my favourite body type, but the manufacturers just gave up after the 86.

I absolutely agree with you. Hyundai completely dropped the ball with this one. It was arguably their biggest blunder.

most alfas, great looks, great interior, great engine, all ruined by fwd

...

Any civic

...

Why do FWD cars look so damn FWD.

The lines on this car have so much potential, but you can tell something isnt right. Somewhere in the shape of that front end, the car is warning you its not as cool as the rest of it looks.

>tfw I thought the new mustang was rwd

the front axle is a little further back than in a RWD car. So they have longer front overhangs

This

They make exactly that in the caprice...

Going out of production in 2017 alongside the Chevy SS.

...

If they weren't going to make a "hot hatch" sort of FWD out of it, it should've been a supercharged V6 RWD competitor to the 370Z.

...

I love my Coupe but agree completely, RWD would make it superb.

RWD and an SRT8 model with the 6.4l Hemi would've made it less of a meme. Or maybe even more of one, but a bit less hated anyway.

....no

And again with RWD and the V8 option. If it's supposed to be a "luxury sports sedan" it may as well have the options and potential to kick an E39 M5 in the teeth at the lights.

You don't think this would've improved it? Or is this another one of those weird "Americans foam at the mouth over something the rest of the world doesn't bat an eyelid at" sort of deals?

>tfw no rwd mazdaspeed 3 coupe

...

>tfw it wasn't a Miata competitor or a mini S2K

+1 kinda. If they wanted to make a fun little 2-door, they should've made it smaller.

Genius. Everything. And some Brembos.

>chrysler

they fixed it with the genisis coupe
but its too late

Veloster maybe AWD would be good too.

this so much

...

Part of me agrees, but isn't that why the Supra exists?

A lot of GMs H and W-Body cars.

always liked the sixth gen Grand Prix. call me a faggot, but I just strikes ma as a car that has a lot of potential. too bad converting them to RWD makes them handle like ass.

RWD Celicas and Supras existed side by side until the 4th gen Celica.

They used to be called Celica-Supras before they split up into sports car and fun commuter.

...

With Europoors it's "muh BEEMER, muh Yuro-made 1.3l diesel Fiat", etc.

With Americans it's sperging out about how shit things are based on brand.

The GT-Four exists. AWD, not RWD. That the seventh gen Celica didn't come with an AWD turbo GT-Four trim is the real travesty.

...

This is why I quite like that the Celica is fwd. If you want a rwd sports there's the Supra and if you want a fun DD there's the Celica.

Should've been a 4-door Skyline sedan minus the JDM-tyte tax and insurance premiums tbqh. FR and an RB25DET in an understated shell would've been much appreciated two decades down the line.

THIS
OH GOD PLEASE

The new Celica should've also been RWD or at least AWD.

Funnily enough the GT86 is essentially an RWD new Celica.

>Funnily enough the GT86 is essentially an RWD new Celica
The only thing it has in common with the Celica is that both are 2-door coupes.

>Funnily enough the GT86 is essentially an RWD new Celica.

Toyota kept making the Celica, they called it a TC and it was a shitbox. The Celica has sucked for 30 years, it should have died 30 years ago.

you retarded or something?

they need to bring back the ford escort and make it RWD

It has far more to do with Celica than it does with AE86. It looks like a modernized ST202. Just look at it.

TC was not a Celica. Celica was a fantastic series winning in rallies as well as giving birth to Supra.

>ywn have a babby foxbody

And having a 4-cylinder engine.

...

Which is n/a and 2 liter. And it even the power output is roughly similar.

GT86 should've had a GT86-4 version with AWD and a turbo. It's a fucking Subaru after all.

pretty much anything with the 3800 series II should have been rear wheel drive

Not possible without pushing the engine forward and ruining the weight distribution.

...

Wait... It's FWD?

>justpretendingtoberetarded.jpg

NFSU is not a reliable source of knowledge.

how old *are* you?

it was a joke, retards
calm down

...

>justpretendingtoberetarded.jpg
You don't say.

I can proudly say tht the Twingo benefits from FWD because internal space is one of the things that makes it great.

Imagine the Twingo in AWD...

It'd be a legitimately good choice for a rally/rallycross car.

Imagine a 600bhp AWD Twingo... It'd be too fun raping retards in their expensive new cool agressive-looking cars.

But the issue is last I checked supras much more expensive than celicas

>Imagine a 600bhp AWD Twingo...
DONT ASK FOR MERCI FOR I HAVE NONE

...

leboncoin.fr/voitures/796611980.htm
>€20,000

what engine does this have?

Had a convertible one once, the things just cannot turn, they will understear as soon you turn faster than 30km/h

It really should have been a RWD car, at least you would have a easy drifting machine

>leboncoin.fr/voitures/796611980.htm
Annonce said V6 Nissan 3.5l Foucart
a little google-fu say it has 370hp.

>at least you would have a easy drifting machine
That's what the Sierra is for.

>a V engine in rally
>in a Twingo
Goddamn this must feel like a Group B car. Literally 205 tier.

But what if V8?

Its not?

I guess if it's a racecar then it;s just a damn sleeper but when it comes to rally cars you hardly ever see anything more than 2 liter 4 cyls flat.

Judge me all you want but I wish 93-95 Corolla,Toyota levin,ae92 and 93-95 v6 Camrys where rwd. But no Toyota had to go full on gay.

...

Honda Del Sol

Civic Mugen RR

That's why the mr2 exists.

The back part was obviously copied. They wanted to make it look sporty. It looks like the engine should be in the back because of the way the back looks. Of course it's an ff car tho because it's an econo box.

pls asplain to me how the Prelude was FWD to begin with.

Half the fucking car is hood. How is the hood that long for a FWD car?

This, I own one and it being fwd sucks. The GTI should also be RWD.

also wish VW would make a Jetta R with AWD and 290+ HP but there's no way this will happen

Having driven a modified ST205 GT-Four, I can tell you 7G GT-S's are more fun to drive. Nothing travesty about that trim at the very least.

Sadly, yea. Honda has no MR2 equivalent, but the Del Sol should have been that.

I still can't decide between an FRS/ND Miata/S2000

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Well they do just not in the west.

Also having driven both, I can tell you you're full of shit.
