How necessary is rerolling to enjoy this game? Mostly just looking for something to play to kill time as opposed to diving balls deep in it, am I going to be wasting my time with multiplayer if I don't reroll for at least a half decent deck from the get go?

No. Better to just get a few good legends, prefeably ones from the same craft.

I rerolled till I got a Cerb and a Howl. Fuck everything else.

Pretty happy about it, since I got 2 Cerbs, also a bonus Tempest.

I didn't reroll, started with 4 trash legendaries and completed 3 T1/T2 decks in my first month of play casually, didn't even bother staying on top of dailies some days. Literally crafted every legend I play with, though I had great luck on golds.

You'll be fine even with shit luck as long as you know what you're doing. And if you don't, look up Banner Sword and let it autopilot you until you know.

I tend to concede if the match was one-sided due to shit draws/mulligans and fight it out if they've won by outplaying me.

Using rites with altered fates/angel crusher pretty much kills you if you use it twice in a match. He probably knew anyway.

Fellow MtG player here. I stopped rerolling at 6 Legendaries, which everyone says is below par, but I did get 2 of the same type for a deck I wanted, so I went with that. Been fine so far. Also the game is pretty different then Magic.
