i'd say that's the best way to learn a character. you don't have the support of your team so it forces you to learn which kind of situations you can solo and which you can't. stuff like that.

Why is Ana so fun? She feels better designed than Sombra in my eyes. Her kit is richer and allows for great plays if you git really good with her. She and new Zarya are my favourite characters for sure.

Have you forgotten that Pharah had 100% pick rate when all her counters were shit, and there has been no nerfs or buffs to her since release? McCree didn't have range, Widow was even worse than now, Zenyatta had 150 HP, Ana didn't exist, Hanzo and Mei didn't have truck sized projectiles. There was only Soldier whose chip damage could be outhealed by Mercy. Strong Pharah is very oppressive. In most other games, rocket launcher is a power weapon with very limited ammo.

I played Ana back when everyone was shouting how shit she was and how Zen is better. I picked her on attack so that I could meme on their Zen's tranquility and not let him cockblock our surge while boosting someone to kill their stack. Not saying I was a great player since I only reached the 60s in terms of skill rating, but she was alright. Now everyone is losing their mind over how OP she is.
