HE's working on it. There used to be only permadeath and no way to quit the game besides the toilet.
So he had some stuff in place to make it so alt-f4 people got punished for cheating death.
Now you can quit whenever and turn permadeath off, so hes slowly working on fixing the saves every update.

look for the bolt where the brake line leads in to the undercarriage and the bolts on each of the four wheels, THEN fill it with brake fluid

I'm using the rally gear and wheels if that matters. Engine is fine, it just seems to 'throttle' when I hit that speed.

you're hitting the rev limiter, if you want to go faster you'll need to change the final gear ratio to 3.9 or 3.7 (I suggest 3.9 for the rally, 3.7 isn't very useful)

Put it in 2 and slow the fuck down, speedometer in miles, not kilometers.
I don't know if the update changed it but the steering is even more sensitive than it used to be. Maybe it's not so bad with a steering wheel but the slightest tap on a thumbstick is enough to oversteer any low speed turn

The mixture leans out as the engine warms up, so when you're gunning it, it ends up lean enough to start backfiring. Upgrading the carb and radiator is always a good idea though, the stock ones are trash.
