It's one of the most frustrating experiences you'll ever go through.
You will collect ships, clear maps, clear maps for ships, and then you reach the wall in hell. The wall of equipment upgrades and the hell of Large Scale Construction. The last especially will make you hate life as you carelessly toss away thousands of resources for a single try at greatness over and over and over again until RNG sees fit to reward you. I can't even complain, considering the number of tries. There are people that reach 100 and still get nothing.

If you're bad at management and setting long term goals, yes. But as someone who's been playing both games since around the time both launched, I've never been as frustrated in KanColle as I have in WoWs. At least there you can chalk everything up to shit luck rather than having to face the reality of what inbred savages you have mashing at their keyboards on your team. If you can finish a season of ranked, you can get yourself a memedal. You'll rarely ever use LSC ships anyway.

But LSC isn't nearly as bad as event drop grinding. You can do LSC anytime you have the resources, but there's a time constraint to event drops that makes every Sendai drop seem all the worse.

Where can I find CV players like that? Every time I play my Iowa, CVs avoided me like a plague.

As a BB should i use HE or AP against a CV? Seems like i always just overpen with AP and usually miss the citadels, i heard fires do extra damage against CV or something and it seems the armor is weak enough that i can still cit with HE if i hit the right spot

you really should set them on fire, it prevents the launch of planes

Russian and Japanese CAs are best. British CLs are probably going to be pretty good but it's still a little too early to tell.

At long range, angle of fall should results in lots of citpens with AP.

At shorter ranges, I would suggest firing half-salvoes of HE, that way you should set a fire every 15 seconds or so.
This minimizes the time he has to launch after using his DC.

i never had issues penning a CV

its really more of the issue that most CVs have their engines on other positions, plus no magazines to hit. i play CAs most often that not, btw
