Memory's Dogma is complete at base story-wise. What happened was that because their kickstarter raised more than necessary, so the "episodes" are intended to be extra routes for the heroines outside of the "canon" main one.

The difference between BDH and Conjueror was that BDH was hostile with a bone to pick, his only goal was to attack and destroy, whereas Conjueror is a relaxed dude who tries to talk equally and understand. Someone like that can't stand up to a hostile attack because they just don't approach communication the same why. BDH shouted, didn't listen, and attacked. Conjueror didn't approach it as a battle, he approached it as a discussion and thus got shouted down whilst being confused as to why anyone was shouting in the first place. BDH, in my opinion, is the "fuccboi" for an obnoxious dick online and not being able to take it easy. Conjueror not engaging in a verbal fistfight on public social media and treating others well instead of as punching bags is far from being a "pathetic beta", it's being a decent human being.

He didn't go overboard and say all rape jokes are bad or whatever or that he did something awful, he just said he was sorry that people got offended by it, which he probably was because he wasn't intending to offend anybody.
