I have a raid static that I like, a house that would demolish if I took an extended break, an fc that I don't mind, my ls full of friends that I enjoy chatting with and took many months to form strong friendships with some of them, but the game is starting to bore the shit out of me. I tried crafting, gathering, changing mains, gardening, achievements, whatever, but I'm almost at the end of my rope. This would be the first time I've ever left so much in a virtual world behind. Would you all just keep paying and log on every now and then to keep things going, or would you just leave the game? I'm really tight on money right now so even the monthly fee is costing me a bit, but if I leave that's probably the end for my ffxiv playtime for good. Expansion looks a bit like more of the same so far and I highly doubt it will be that enjoyable. Plus it's a year away, and I really doubt I can last that long. Anyone else deal with this before?

You set up the basic scenery. Get into position. Dress/undress to the proper amounts, then start to undress as your actions dictate.
Beyond that you just gotta use your imagination but setting up the scene with the characters is HIGHLY IMPORTANT.

Leviathan has a much bigger /xivg/ presence than Excalibur nowadays, so head there if you want a more sizable group to do content with.

I don't think any character is well-written in this game, just by nature of the material. This is Final Final Fantasy after all, and interesting characters are few and far between

I'd rather have a 100 more "forced" characters like Haurche than have to listen to a bunch of people who are supposedly my "friends" use me for their own gains and then have the game try to make me feel sad for them when they inevitably die.
