The close-cropped edges introduced horrible anomalies in the map of Spain. The other two examples look okay, in my opinion.

Taking hours to mess with the nudge tool and the positions file would be a lot more autistic than merely writing a cool program. This was just a random project--totally for fun.

The entire point of this program is to make the map as close to a hexagonal grid as possible, but without changing any of the existing province sizes and adjacencies.
