It's going to depend on what else we get. If there's anything that can SERIOUSLY use +5/5 in your hand, like a battle cry that deals his attack to all enemies, or charge and a battle cry that doubles his attack, or something like that, then he might be useful.

Decent removal exists in every class, it's just not used because the meta favors large numbers of medium sized minions instead of huge overstatted ones. If these buffs push the game into that territory, we'll see more Polymorphs and Assassinates, and less Fire Balls and Shadow Strikes

BGH is fair at 5 mana.

If the meta shifts to smaller numbers of larger minions, you'll want targeted removal like Assassinate, Sap, or Patient Assassin, not AoEs like Vanish and Blade Flurry.

user, a fuckton of cards weren't nerfed
many decks (hunter, mage, etc) purposely choose not to run single target removal because
A: they prefer not to actually interact with the opponent
B: they prefer to go face, and you can't polymorph or hunters mark the face
C: since naxx/gvg rotated out there just arent many targets

for example, try running earth shock
it'll sit in your hand constantly since there's nothing to silence anymore

I played a little at beta but quit cause mtg was a better game

I've made dozens of shit decks and only a few actually worked in the end, though even then only around rank 14

one was a warlock deck that runs reno, n'zoth, yogg, and has a win condition of 20 or 28 damage leeroy/PO/faceless manip combo with emperor, I don't know how it worked so well it just did

another I still play now is velen mindblast priest, only instead of drawing the combo it's focused on surviving into fatigue and unleashing the 20 damage then

the idea of knowing you're going to put against a unique deck built by the person using it every time you queue up is so good, but there's just no realistic set of rules to make that happen
