What kind of items should I put in a game room?

I don't want to put any fortune cookie items like the Triforce or Koopa shells, just items that could feasibly be in a real-life game room.

Right now I have a computer, a pinball machine, an arcade machine, and the 3DS and Wii U items.

Funny how people don't complain about the elephants this time, knowing there's worse.

Dartboard, Foosball Table, Billiard's Table, Tennis Table, Mahjong Table, Ball Return, Bowling Pins, possibly a ball that could look like a bowling ball, Tabletop Game, Crane Game and Basketball Hoop work pretty well for the Game Room set up.

Are there ways to make original townies leave? I have like 2 good ones out of the lot. I just made the town and haven't talked to the ones I want out, I'm just wondering if this technique works for OG town members or not.

Just to make sure, if I put my ACNL game card into another 3DS with a different SD card (that has the update installed), all that's unavailable is StreetPass houses, right?

Is it possible she leaves on her own on the same day? I had her following me until I went back into my house, a couple of hours ago. Do visits from other people allow her to leave too?

I'm not sure, I think I have a vague memory of a time I had her follow me and then she disappeared after I told her that I couldn't bring her to someone...

Thinking of buying some Amiibo cards. Are they about the same size as typical trading cards? By which I mean, will they fit in a normal clear protective sleeve + binder?

yeah they'll leave eventually. the only villager that will never move is the most recently moved in.

yeah the game saves to the cartridge, when you play it in another ds for the first time it will create all the extra data it needs on the sd card of that console. i'm not exactly sure of the ins and outs of what data it stores on the sd though but you won't lose anything important

Yeah, you need to visit their town and talk to the villager that's moving out. It only works if you don't have 10 villagers

I talk to porter and ask him to invite people in. Then it says, Parental consent is required to use

IIRC, Filly doesn't have a card, Japanese people can download his RV to their campground instead. If you're not in Japan, he could have gotten it from someone from Japan, or he/someone could have hacked it.

I dunno. Seems kinda random i guess. When I got the club toritmer application the list refreshed with some expert tier tours

I'm pretty sure it's based off of either how many tours you've been on, or how many medals you've collected.

I found completing all the lower tours and leaving the island and coming back unlocked more tours

This may just be personal preference but with so much of your town covered by paths, it makes it feel very empty and barren. Adding some more trees/bushes/flowers would help a lot.

What's good single tile QR codes to lay around town for controlling move-ins?

I'm guessing something like a rock or stepping stone will be the only thing that doesn't look completely out of place.

I just got a pretty spacey layout I like but it has circle grass and oranges (perfect oranges & pears look the ugliest to me).

Is it advisable to use save editing? Like would changing native grass/fruit be "detectable" because they're connected to other variables in the save or something? Or is it more of a matter of a slipperly slope because if I'm going to edit my save, what's going to stop me from just hacking in a full catalogue and everything else.

If you think you have the self control to just change small cosmetic things like your grass or fruit and nothing else, then go ahead.

It's all down to personal preference because you're always going to have people who think any save editing at all is terrible and people who think any save editing at all doesn't matter.

Something glitched up in my character's inventory. There's an item there that literally can't leave my inventory. Right now it's a lava floor, but I can't place it down, put it on the ground outside, or anything. It's just stuck there in my inventory. I can move it to different slots, but I can't get rid of it. Any way to fix this?

I would try a save editor, and also backing up said save to make sure it/your/cart/sd card/whatever isn't corrupted or something.

Does anyone know how this side-facing waterfall looks like on a town map? Anyone have it?

No need for a south-facing waterfall if you have this.

Does the powersaves count as one? I'll probably revert it to a save before this happened.
