First, get some good pets to help powerlevel other pets. Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling is easily the best for this, as well as Chrominius and Anubisath Idol. Level them to 25 and powerlevel other pets via Draenor pet dailies (the one in shadowmoon valley is the easiest, it can be solod entirely by a pandaren mech dragonling. you might not really need any more than a few top-tier pets

When powerleveling a pet via a daily quest, the pet needs to be active for at least one turn to get xp. Usually you'll send the carry pet in after your first pet dies, then immediately swap to your second legit pet.

Most strats there give you 1-2 pet strategies. You can get the FotM group: Teroclaw, Chrominius, MPD, Anubisath, EPW and get everything done fairly easily.

This why the old gods expansion whenever it comes need to massively overhaul everything, from pandaria, to outland to northrend. Draenor needs to be moved to caverns of time otherwise it doesnt make sense in the timeline, and only serve as a place for people to have fun with old content. Levels need to be squished down to 60 and people need to level from 1-60 in the old rehauled world

Assa is the easiest single target Rogue spec specially if you go poisons, AoE is the hardest. Sub is the hardest single target and second easiest AoE.

But be warned sub is underperforming heavily unless you have the legendary boots and very high ilvl, don't be fooled by logs. Assa performs really well at all ilvls atm.

Outlaw is usually the overworld and easy instances spec, for higher level mythic+s you'll want to start practicing that assa AoE since mobs will last for long enough so that your poisons and bleeds have time to deal damage, and as outlaw your single target is pretty trash, so you'd be useless against tyrannical bosses.
