Darkness evolved doesn't really seem to have that many staple cards that aren't easy to just craft a few of for a deck you want. It feels I should always be buying standard for cards like Sea Queen, Tsubaki, Ancient Elf, etc.

There isn't a reason to really hate the art itself, it's perfectly fine if a little simple. The only valid reason I could see is disliking having different art styles together in the game, which is understandable.

All the top decks are pretty easy to play honestly. Shadowverse is fun, the evolve mechanic is cool, and playing on curve like hearthstone isn't always the best play which is good, but people are kidding themselves if they think this shit is difficult.

Aggro bats is easy as fuck. I guess it's the hardest of the aggro decks but the aggro decks all have incredibly low skill floors

Depends on what deck you use. But yeah for commonly used decks it seems like Elf and maybe Royal are the only ones that want to really pull a lot from DE because of Tia, Alexander, and Olivia. There are a lot more useful golds in DE than the standard packs though.

Honestly I'm having fun with it, half your dudes are removal and what's not removal is hyper aggressive stuff like Mushu or Trinity that makes the opponent either deal with them or die horribly. Then there's Forte topdecks of doom.

If you're facing less aggro and more late game decks I would advise -1 Aurelia +1 Otohime and -1 White Pally +1 Frontguard

are there similar decks for other classes? or even different but also cool Runecraft decks? I like the Earth Rite stuff, but it seems like those are much weaker. I like how aggressive you can be with Runecraft, and want to expand on that.

Path to Purgatory seems pretty cool for Forest, is there a similar option for Runecraft using golems and stuff?
