What is better for ground attack

1. Dont fly with a stick unless you are doing sim battles. This game is not a flight sim by any means, on any mode and mouse aimers get ez mode.

it takes about half year to get to jets, assuming you're not neet that can play whole day.
You can reach Tier 3 with no issues without spending a dime, but after that grind gets progressively worse and worse.
Premium account or talisman/premium plane incrase RP gain to 200%, 300% if combined.
Theoretically, you can buy boosters in in-game shop to increase RP gains even more, but quick math shows they're just all-around bad deal

Are you guys ready for the CBT to start on December 31st?

Why can I not properly land my plane? No matter how hard I try I can't get a 3 point landing. I cut throttle around 190 mph (which the instructor tells me is stall speed) but the plane just won't slow down.

On maps like Norway I'm just fucked if I try to land.

Does anyone know why the stat cards in game seem so inaccurate?

My theory is that whenever gaijin introduces a plane they build a FM from sekrit document stats but never actually test the FM's in game to see if they actually reflect the sekrit documents and the stat card is actually just whatever the sekrit documents say.

It depends highly on plane and I suggest pulling them off with planes that have engines under their wings. Otherwise you'd need lower speeds than usually to land, if you don't want your plane to disintegrate or kill your unleveled pilot.

Make sure you are low to the ground on approach, diving to land will just raise your speed more. Ideally you want to touch down right at the start of the runway going as slow as you possibly can to stay in the air. Then once you touch down use your brakes but not too vigorously. You can manually waggle your rudder some to bleed even more speed, and when you are going 30-50mph or so you can just spin the plane around to immediately stop (speed this is safe to do depends on plane, just keep experimenting untill you fuck up, then go slower next time)

How do you win headons? I try to avoid them but there's always that moron who will pull a 1,000,000g just maneuver to headon you.

You need to know the effective range of your opponent's guns. Fly like you are going to accept the head-on and just before you enter that range fire a short burst slightly above him, roll to one side and pull down a bit. Once you pass him, if he's in a more manoeuvrable plane than yours, you keep going straight. If he's in a less manoeuvrable one and he turns, you pull up and do a vertical loop, which should get you into a better energy state and a possible firing position. If he doesn't turn, you keep going straight, despite your manoeuvrability advantage. And lastly, if you're flying a Spitfire, you always turn and catch up to him using your superior warp engines.

If you have nose guns, spray a bit above the target considering his distance and roll/dive away. This may seem idiotic from them, but most players will keep flying into your MG151/20 or ShVak wall of death even if they see you break.

If you have wing guns and are maneuverable, immediately dive away and get on his tail as he zooms past you.

If you have wing guns and are American, pray and dive.
