Muradin is a god tier tank.

Jaina is a fantastic assassin but positioning is a big thing for her and you're new.

Tyrande is a healer with dps potential, not good for a noob.

Muradin is the best in general.
Tyrande takes a bit more skill, know-how and good teammates.
Jaina is situational.

Tyrande is the most fun but the hardest to play even at an okay level, Jaina is a great assassin and Muradin is a great tank.

Muradin it is. I played the second tutorial with him and he's really fun. I wish Zarya wasn't so expensive, though

All the free heroes this week are pretty fun. Maybe not so much Chromie if you're new because she can't really contribute to objectives aside from killing dudes. Alarak is my favorite dude ever, he's also pretty complicated but you can do well enough just pushing people into your silence. Azmodan is really, really fun too but he's more of a pushing guy than a fighting guy.

It's the only spell that doesn't help your team. Level 20 any character can instantly clear out minions on a much shorter cooldown than arcane rift. I guess people take it from behind hoping to hold off the fort but Medivh isn't any good playing from behind in the first place.

They've changed the tutorials, AFAIK. Now you can play them not only with Raynor but with Mura, Jaina and Tyrande too, to get a grip on all the basic roles. Then you get to take one of them for free.

Just check them out, no one gives a fuck in AI games and your first 150 games in general have noob protection hiding you from big bad bullies.

The shop has a "Try" option you can use to check out a hero, play around with talents and get a feel for them, but personally I'd recommend just going in on free rotation heroes.

Even if they nerf Corruption AGAIN, it will always be the choice talent at Level 1, just because it fucking doubles your damage output.
The only way to make another talent viable is to lower the required stacks by 10 and moving Echoed Corruption to an altogether different talent tier like Level 4, OR to fucking make Fel Flame a non-meme build ala:

Quest: Each time Fel Flame hits an enemy hero, increase its damage by 3, up to 150.

Quest Reward: Upon reaching 150 bonus damage, increase Fel Flames range by 10-20%

I agree. I'm just saying, when they nerfed Corruption they did it to try and get the other talents being picked without buffing the actual shit talents. They don't understand why people take what they do and they think just slightly nerfing the good talent will give talent diversity.

It IS advanced point and click, because as Raynor it's literally "right click, press W on cooldown, shoot Q at something engaging", with stutter stepping being about the skill ceiling.

Valla? Keeping Hatred stacks IS difficult and requires precision stutterstepping to function at all, her Q and W are more than just "press on cooldown" because they each have their own specific use of instant damage and are important to be off-cooldown when you need them, her Vault is an incredible movement option that allows chasing for kills AND dodging skillshots, something Raynor cannot do, making him less reactive and thus less skillful to use.
Her ults are incredibly hard to time, "Do I strafe right now and risk getting stunned? Can my teammates follow up on my Shadow Volley? Should I keep one instance to peel for myself or another squishy ally?" Nothing like that for Raynor. It's just "lol hyperion in the general direction", no skill.

Valla also has multiple distinct builds which each require training to use well, she's more flexible and knowing how to utilitize her talents and counter-talent the enemy team composition requires insight and a keen mind. With Raynor? Lol auto-attacks XDXDXD

I just did a game where I took every talent that gave me frost wolf resilience along with the triple hitting e. I pretty much would lose health and then instantly get it back and then pop earthquake.

Nerfing Marche of the Black King at that! Coolest sounding skill in the entire game but it always ruins your positioning and does less damage than the double skeletal swing talent. You can't take the level 20 version because 3% life/healing on hit and even if you do it's untalented version of life drain which does hardly any damage and people can ignore by moving half an inch out of your range.

They should attach the fel flame range/width to the globe talent because it's really not worth getting close to cast it when it costs 75 mana a shot and bankrupts you in a couple of hits. Hell, make it a King's Quest talent where 20 globes gets you the mana reduction, 40 hits gives you increased width, and damage is increased by minion kills or seige damage.

Varian pretty much counters you with his healing debuff. Xul as well.

The problem with that is, I would still take corruption. His whole kit feels like it revolves around Corruption.

If they really want to make people stop taking it they should bump it up another 5 or 10 stacks and make it baseline. Because that's the only way it's not going to be the best unless you nerf corruption like crazy.

Lvl 16 and lvl 20. In a one on one scenario I might be fucked but in a team fight I'll be fine. Besides at lvl 20 Earthquake also gives you shit loads of shields.
