Not sure if stats also affect drain speed but I know for every 1 second you keep a combo going you get a thousand points. Each frame the game counts you hitting on also gives you poison's damage on the same hit.

The bad translation is just barely forgivable because translations like that are hilarious. I'm using the super soul "The gold represents the new me" which boosts charged ki blasts (XL) with no drawbacks, it even has the rush type for non-transformed blasts. I have no idea how much damage the beams actually do without it.
