with the weekly quest thing they added you can pretty much get enough gold for any god you want every week too. The gem events are also always generous and let f2p people earn skins, SMITE has a really good f2p model, maybe perfect.

Here's one or two bugs from abathur that can be exploited :
Lvl 20 locus nest seems to be tied with mines cooldown. If you use your mines it doesn't modify locus nest, but if you use locus nest it put 45s cooldown on your mines.
During this cd, if you symbiote a creep, it will refresh locus nest and your mines.
This means you can put a locust nest, symbiote, put a new locus nest and spawn more locust than you should.
