If I buy a microphone to plug into that part of the jack, will it work as a microphone? If so, what mic do I buy? I used to have those sony golds but the hinges snapped and they're actually shit quality compared to the new headphones I got.

I don't want to use my duct taped wireless shitters but I do want to use new operator and call out still as other ones.
