I never really saw the appeal in Rosemary and Isabelle since both were lacking in terms of personality or looks. Bernie had a likeable personality and got shit done along with her husband. Plus her design stood out and was more distinct compared to former who looked like aged up versions of their daughters.

Bushido, much like knightly honor, is extremely overstated and normally only applied to other members of the upper classes, in peace time, when they felt like it.

And besides, Espio uses his abilities for espionage, not assassinations.

Given that ian is used to writing short tie in stories for the games and that the games themselves would literally only need you to write a framing device around whatever the concept of the game is I don't think it's be that out of his wheelhouse.

Don't forget it's not like he'd be designing all the characters and game and shit. Sega would just slap down a design document saying something like "Eggman is capturing aliens to power a space gun, here are the aliens. The stages are all based on a space theme park. Here are the locations and boss designs. go nuts. our team will check and revise everything you do and give you constant notes on why you need to write it for 12 year olds"

I feel ya, but I look at it as a way to encourage the good artists who want to draw more of the underappreciated gals. Like said, there's some promising new talent out there doing God's work. If buying a piece keeps them at it and I get something I wouldn't get to see otherwise, it's win-win no matter how you look at it.
