I'm sorta new so I don't get how the math works but if it's got 60% additional damage per stage, and 8 stages, that's 480% increased damage, so 474 x 4.8 = 2.2k at 8 stages? Not factoring in the -% fire resistance and no spell power. Seems alright.

Since it's just "60%," it's like an Effectiveness Multiplier of sorts.
It would apply before Extra damage, but after all your Inc. and More mods.
Assuming this isn't a typographical error.
Also, it has a natural Fire Pen, so it's actually slightly better than a mere 474 DPS.

Calling it now, there's gonna be a Unique in 2.5 with "Channeled Skills have +1 Additional Channel"

From what I understand, at 1 debuff stage it deals the 474 with no additional damage, and then every additional debuff stage past 1 adds a 60% increase, so 420% increased effectiveness. Meaning at 8 stages you'd have 1.9k dps, without the -% fire res, or any spell damage.
