You're stupid. It being a 5 cost is good because you can immediately trade into evolved 4 drops with it still surviving and it refills your hand so you don't completely run out of steam and have to rely on topdecks by turn 6.

Yes, but it nets you more officers, which are needed once the guys you played in Turns 1-3 die off. Any follower that you play that nets you more followers to play is a good card. Think about utility.
