I played the Krupps but I don't remember how long I lasted because it was a few months ago. I decided to stop playing when the UK declared war on me and it didn't feel worth the effort. It could very well have been before the 50's. Now that I know there is actual content ahead I will give it another chance.

Krupp is by far the most fleshed out, though if I were you I'd just wait for version 2.0 from that user, there'll be some other, probably better stuff in it along with basic bugfixes.
The mod is neat, and I still really love it but it was my first project from years ago, before I really knew what I was doing or HPM existed so it's buggy, unfinished and not great in places.

HPM, I had an idea for a "reverse manifest destiny". The reason being that the land out west was uncolonised at the start, still full of Indians, in the event America becomes shit it would make sense for Mexico to expand into it, and makes a really fun game for a player. Here's the sort of conditions I think it would be fair to take it:
>Mexico is a GP >USA, CSA, FSA, or any of the other american tags are not GPs >ruling party is not pacifist >Mexico owns all of it's cores >literacy is atleast 25% (White man's burden and all that.)
If you agree they could have a decision after this, once they capture these cores, to expand to the "natural border" of the Mississipi river. That's a bit more controversial though as there were Yankees and Dixies there from start and some of those places are US states at start, it was sparsely populated though.
The reason I suggest this is because I played a Mexico game and America makes those places states in a few years, meaning every single one costs 11 infamy to take, which would mean 121 infamy for all of it, which seems excessive for a lot of deserts and mountiains where nobody lives. Alternatively you could make a North America specific CB which allows them to be taken for about one infamy each, but that could lead to Britain blobbing into the American west, which would be too memetastic.
