I guess we could talk about how stupid some newfags are on the forums, how we could enhance the endgame, and how dead both CA and the thread are.

The combat system itself is hardcoded, but I think you can edit the monsters.xnb file to change their stats. But if you want to change it in a meaningful way, you'll probably need smapi.

I want it to have the paperdoll equipment thing from ARPGs (Diablo etc.) and also create new equipment (Helm,gloves etc.).

For the paperdoll equipment you'll need SMAPI, that's for sure (it's also already kinda done in the game with the boots changing color based on which ones you've equipped, so it's possible). Dunno about new equipment though. Adding items only through xnb files has been done, but stuff like helms or gloves? I don't think so.
