I have a question.

I want to go around oz, dirst roads, off road and the works. Nothing too hardcore but enough to get me to interesting places. Currently driving a subaru forester with turbo and i'm going to be towing an 800kg MAX trailer. Any advice for some mods i can do?

Current thoughts, aluminum cover for the bottom, smaller steel wheels with larger tires to avoid shattering. Should I consider spacers for some more clearance? Currently sitting at 25cm. Reasonably stable car, done about 150 clicks. I think with regular maintenance i can get around oz with it.

Maybe throw a wooden block or something behind the accelerator so i dont stress anything too much. I'm quite worried about the turbo, how should i approach that, keeping it alive and all. Also, in the trailer, im going to have 120 liters of extra fuel which because im using an automatic.

The car can tow 1.5 tonnes people rekon so im trying to keep it around the half way mark.

Any thoughts?

Sounds good mate. Check turbo for leaks, noises and shaft play. Bring all your other car fluids incl. some water for rad and enough water to last you 2 days

Make sure your awd system is in good condition, not sure if those use a tranfer case like an outback, if so test it. Check at 14+5" steelies fit over your brakes and make sure theres no rubbing

I've heard from a friend who knows people who work there reckon it was the workers fault. The guys operating the ride. It should be spaced apart so that you get no more than 2 rafts waiting to go. If you take too long loading for any reason you're meant to stop the conveyor otherwise you will literally smash one into the back of another. In this case it looks like it could have done that and its ridden under the one ahead of it and flipped, trapped the bottom lot in and sucking them down into the conveyor while ejecting the other two.
